COGG thinks it is GOD

Here is the agenda from the most recent COGG meeting. What is wrong with these people?

"Does COGG have a role to play at Council meetings?"
Yes, to sit there and shut up. Something they had issues with at the last meeting.

Who cares what COGG's perception is of the City Administrator and/or the Public Works Director?
Ummm...can we give the guys as chance to get the job done? I am sure they are heart broken that the recently unemployed Mayor Mike and Chuck Boone-doggle didn't get appointed to the CA and PW positions, respectively.

Can I just laugh at the "great good for the greatest number" line? Actions speak louder than words and their actions are shouting, "The Greatest Good for the Great COGG!"

Beautification Committee

At Mondays meeting MT Schnieder appointed his "Beautification Committee". Still on the committee (and chair) is Lisa "You Can Ring My Bell" Rodolfi.



The most suprising nomination was Carol Hopkins, as Ward One resident. Neither Ward One council member nominated her. I can only assume this is just more patronage positions, since Carol is a known COGG member and big-time MT supporter.



But, what may not be as well known is Hopkins troubles with "beautification" within Overland. So, since I was inspired by the OVCC blog's video, here are the details:

What is COGG

They say COGG is Citizens of Overland for "Good Government". Yet, they promote some pretty bad policies.
